  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the dry vegetarian ground beef substitute and additional broth. If it is frozen, the additional broth is optional.
  2. Add diced onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Add seasonings. Cook until the onion is translucent and the pepper is tender according to preference. This takes anywhere from 3-7 minutes.
  3. Add canned beans, tomato sauce, and tomatoes. Mix in the diced green chiles and heat through until done about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and serve with vegan shredded cheese, scallions and a dollop of vegan sour cream.
